Annie Wersching was born March 28, 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work was as well for Tess in the videogame by Naughty Dog The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. As a child she was a competitor in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching started her acting career through an appearance on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to appearances as a guest star in shows such as Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March to November 2007 she played the role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap show General Hospital. She also appeared in theatres like Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24, Wersching played guest roles on a variety of shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which stars the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). She was also a regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher on the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also voiced the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to be cast in the character of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
