Bonnie Wright

Bonnie Francesca Wright was born 17 February 1991. She is an actor, model and director from England. Wright is best known for her role in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. She remained as the character for ten years before stepping into Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011). Wright has appeared in numerous independent films including Before I Sleep (2013) and The Sea (2013). The films received mixed reviews. She made her stage debut as the lead actress in Peter Ustinov's The Moment of Truth at the Southwark Playhouse in 2013.Wright graduated from the University of the Arts London in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in filmmaking. After that, she established her own production company, BonBonLumiere, and began producing short films. Her first project she directed was the coming of age drama Separate We Come. Separate We We Go (2012). The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to high reviews. She also directed Know Thyself (2016), starring Christian Coulson, and Sextant (2016) Both of which focused on landscape and emotion as main themes. Wright's trilogy, Phone Calls, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017. Medusa's Ankles (2018) with Kerry Fox and Jason Isaacs was released by Wright. The show is based on A. S. Byatt's The Matisse Stories. She has directed music videos for artists Sophie Lowe, Pete Yorn, as well as Scarlett Johansson. Wright has gained recognition for her environmental activism. she also serves as an ambassador for the charity Greenpeace as well as Lumos.
