Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born 10th December 1987) is a American sports presenter and journalist. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and is a presenter on their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was initially interested in stock car race when she was granted a pit-lane pass. She graduated from Christopher Newport University and worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. Her self-made NASCAR videos were posted on SceneDaily an online stock car racing website. Vincie was born on 10 December the year 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was raised in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved to Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. Vincie is the eldest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an instructor in fifth grade, while her grandfather was on the faculty of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always had an interest in since an early age. Vincie graduated Fauquier High School, in the year 2006. She participated in track and field competitions, and also worked as a director of the school's team in wrestling for four years. She won the 800m event at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with lots of information. In 2010, she completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie was an intern for the university's athletics division. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior thesis on the gender gap in auto racing which focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She was interested in the sport after she secured a pit lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
