Natalie Dormer
was born on 11 February 1982. She is an English actress. She has been awarded
an Empire Award and been nominated for two Gemini Awards, two Critics Choice
Awards, as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading,
Berkshire. She became famous by playing the character of Anne Boleyn in the
character she played on the Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which won her
wide acclaim. In Sweet Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut. She was also the
Duchess Of York in Madonna's W.E. (2011), and Private Lorraine in Captain
America the First Avenger (2011). After Miss Julie (2012), at the Young Vic,
was highly applauded. Dormer received international praise and attention for
her roles as Margaery Tyrell (2012-2016 on HBO) and Cressida (2014-2015 on The
Hunger Games), that are among her most watched films. She also played Irene
Adler/Moriarty in CBS's Elementary (2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price (2016,
2017) and Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). She was awarded
acclaim for her role as the lead in the mini-series Penny Dreadful: City of
Angels (2020). Dormer was born on the 11th of February 1982 in Reading,
Berkshire (England), as the daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire Richards. She
is also the younger sister of Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
