Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell was a television personality, a former chef in the Institute of Culinary Education and in the past, she taught cooking. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature spikey blonde locks and pump up personality, provides easy techniques anyone can learn. Chef Burrell has also worked at some of the top restaurants that are located in New York, studied the culinary landscape and traditions of Italy and competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell developed a passion for culinary arts and cooking from the age of. The Culinary Institute of America was the next stop for her following graduation with an Associate of Arts degree in English and Communication with a degree from Canisius College Buffalo NY. I was awed by every minute during my time at The Culinary Institute of America she says. I didn't have enough knowledge, couldn't achieve enough and couldn't push myself enough. When I graduated, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. The time she spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and this has left an impression on her perception of food. Burrell is a well-known ambassador in the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists kids who have challenges. In her role as a speaker, Burrell is on the road to share her passion for cooking and food, as well as to talk about her profession in culinary. Anne declared that she felt fortunate to be able to communicate her love of cooking to the people around her.
